Reform Movements in America
The Early Republic and Antebellum eras experienced tremendous growth and change in American society during the decades of the American experiment in self-government; including social and religious reform movements. Join the conversation as we explore abolition, temperance, women’s rights, and the expansion of government in the early 20th century.
This program will be conducted as a discussion, utilizing as the only readings and with Professor Seagrave facilitating the conversation, instead of lecturing or presenting. Registrants, therefore, are highly encouraged to read all the documents in advance and come ready with questions. 聽Teachers will receive a Letter of Attendance at the conclusion of the seminar.
