Supreme Court Cases that Changed America
Many Supreme Court cases have shaped our history and established legal precedent. This seminar will focus on the Constitution and Federalism, the Constitution and the Commerce Clause, and conclude with a look at significant Civil Rights cases and their opinions.
This program will be conducted as a conversation among peers, tilizing as the only readings, and with Professor Sands facilitating the conversation, instead of lecturing. Registrants are highly encouraged to read the documents and come with questions. Teachers will receive a lunch and a letter of attendance at the conclusion of the seminar.
